After dating someone who had many rich cultural cuisinal influences, my favorite times were meeting his friends and going out for snacks! Here is one snack that was my favorite: Banana Turon. I actually went to a local store called J&S Pinoy for wedding catering and ate the banana turon eggrolls at my grandma's house. They were so tantalizingly sweet that I did not mind the calories! I think I have cried every day waiting for a resolution to losing my best friend, but I have always loved Filipino food and will love Filipino food forever more. So Turon can be fried or baked and drizzled with chocolate syrup!
